Heather W. Decker

Heather's experience in insurance defense litigation has allowed her to work on cases involving personal injury and death claims, trucking accidents, rail road administrative matters and accidents, and construction defect cases.

Heather's experience in insurance defense litigation includes construction defect claims, personal injury and death claims, trucking accidents, rail road administrative matters and accidents. Being married to a construction project manager (and the occasional home improvement project) fuel Heather's particular interest in construction cases. Heather has represented developers, owners, contractors and suppliers in cases involving mold, water intrusion and damage and construction defects in single family homes, condominiums, apartments, affordable housing complexes, and commercial buildings.

Heather enjoys digging into discovery and investigation to reveal the unique story of a case, and the facts which support her client's position. Communicating and working cooperatively with clients, court and counsel are important to her as a means of efficient and cost effective resolution of the challenges that arise in the course of litigation and to prepare a case for resolution in mediation, arbitration or trial.

In her off time, Heather enjoys volunteering for educational, legal and community organizations and attends to a busy family life with three active young boys.

Heather provides services to the firm as a contract attorney.
